• What Lies Ahead?

Well, the holidays have passed and everything is beginning to get back to normal once again. My Christmas story did fairly well in the few days nearest Christmas, though I had finished it too late to expect a major impact. The hard copy will come out, but I doubt there will be a lot of interest until we get much closer to Christmas once again!

So, though classes and lectures take much of my time at present, I can continue work on other novels that I started in 2014. It's time for me to remove myself from the Victorian era for a little while and do something different.

I'm not going to place any deadlines because good writing takes time, and that is something I have too little of in my daily life, but I will make progress in some sort of steady fashion. Perhaps I will have a new story ready for Summer reading. The big publishers put out their holiday reading catalogue in May, so that would be a reasonable goal to strive for, but I make no promises. We'll just have to see how it goes.
